1/16/2024 0 Comments War thunder with flight stickOne more question, as players, what would YOU use, a Logitech Extreme 3d Pro Joystick, or a Thrustmaster T. So remember guys, I am an utter noob with this game and things like that so go easy. It must be compatible with things like my racing wheel perhaps, but ore specifically my keyboard (Not sure if this is an issue). No messy setup, it needs to go on a desk.Set up a separate keybind for brakes, dont just use throttle. Set your sensitivity to 100 for all three axes, adjust nonlinearity to suit your tastes. Ive owned a stick with potentiometers too about 15 years ago and it worked quite well until I sold it, so its also luck of the draw. The game doesnt punish you for using a stick, but its also got horrible defaults. I would possibly like the joystick and the "pedals" (IDK what they're called in the aviation world but the things that control the rudders) The Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS uses potentiometers, a friend of mine had one that began spiking within half a year of use because the sensors were worn out.No messing around with compatibly and drivers. The reason for this is that I'm not looking for some full-on setup, just a comfortable basic one that I can enjoy without the fuss. The controller needs to be no more than like $150AUD.So here's a small list of requirements as to what I'd like/need in a basic setup. I've also looked into Thrustmasters controllers and they spark my interest too. SABRENT USB 3.0 Extension Cable 22AWG A Male to A Female, 10 Feet Black, for Data Transfer/Charging, Compatible with PCs, Laptops, Printers (CB-3010) 798. The reason I'm saying this is that, as I'm sure you know, the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick looks to be the entry level flight stick and would be great to start out with. This item: Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas One (XBOX Series X/S & XOne and PC) 9999. People seem to complain about Logitechs hardware but if it's looked after right and used properly, it's quality stuff from my experiences. Now I play a lot of racing games and I've been using a Logitech G27 for them for many years now, and it's been great. Which is why i'm in the market for a flight stick. I really want to get into this game and one of the best ways for me to do that is to get equipped with the right hardware. This is only my second post and I'd like to thank all the people who gave me a warm welcome over in the meet and greet section of the forums.
